Hi there,
My name is Jessica Monte and I am a newborn, baby, child and family photographer. Throughout my life, I have treasured opportunities to work with babies, children and their parents. As a photographer, I feel blessed to be able to capture a family’s beautiful moments, whether it be the birth of a child, the celebration of a birthday or the marking of a season. It is a great honor to be able to do this kind of work.
I am available to photograph your new baby, child, your growing belly (moms and dads to be), and your family both in the studio and on location. I also offer senior and debutante portraits as well as wedding and event photography. My studio is newborn, kid and family friendly with lots of fun props ranging from baskets, blankets, and chairs to silly and adorable hats. I encourage my clients to bring their fun side to their sessions. It is my belief that the best photos happen when everyone is having a good time; it is my goal as your photographer to take the best photo of you that you’ve ever had taken.
Prior to your session, I will talk with you about what you like to do as a family or what your baby or child likes to do. For newborns, I will talk with parents at great length about how to prepare for a session so that we capture those gorgeous sleepy baby photos. Many of my clients ask what they should wear for portraits; I have created the following guides: Expecting moms, Vivid portraits, Classic portraits. I will also answer any questions about hair and makeup; if you’d like, I can recommend specific makeup brands as well as makeup artists and stylists who can work with you for your big day.
My session availability includes weekday afternoons, as well as weekend mornings and afternoons. I spend about one to two hours with my clients for each session. I will talk with you about photo layout and presentation in your home after your session during a separate appointment. One of my goals is to create photographic art for your walls with you and your family as inspiration. Many custom products are also available including framed color and black and white prints, metal prints, gallery floats, and albums. It is my hope that these art pieces will become heirlooms that your family will treasure for years to come.
